The Highland Hills

Well, we certainly won’t limit ourselves to less complex projects — this feedlot in Iowa is one of our favorites. On this build, we are applying closed-cell spray foam under new previously installed tin. In livestock facilities, condensation is a major issue. During cold weather, warm, moisture laden air from the cattle rises and collects on the underside of the roof. Without proper insulation, this leads to condensation buildup, which accelerates rust and shortens the lifespan of the tin. Spray foam insulation helps control condensation by creating a continuous air and moisture barrier, reducing metal corrosion and extending the life of the roofing system. It works well in environments where temperature swings and humidity levels are constant factors.

Safety Disclaimer:
Spray foam insulation is safe when applied in properly ventilated and open areas, including environments where animals are present, provided appropriate conditions are met. Our team evaluates each job site before application and will not proceed if ventilation, access, or safety conditions do not meet our standards.
